Make up Artist required.

A World of Photography is looking for a make-up artist to work on photo shoots on a freelance basis. Our work mainly consists of Glamour, Portrait, Wedding and Commercial photography, but may explore other areas.

Darren House is a photographer based in High Wycombe, Bucks and most of his work is therefore local.
The makeup artist is required to supply their own general make-up and transport to local locations but expenses and travelling costs maybe negotiated.

Most make up sessions would be between one and two hours and paid on that basis. Long sessions would be discussed as required.

On Saturday i had Jade and Laura do some modeling for me.

We went to a Subway in Great Missenden which is not far from Prestwood where I'm based to try a few shots.

We are running a TFP (time for pictures) event on Saturday 22nd of September 07.

All models experienced or not are welcome to attend including make up artists and photographers.

The shoot will take part nr High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire about 30min outside London on the M40.

Pleas contact me ASAP for more information if you are able to attend. I will send out location details when you email me so I don’t have strange people just turning up.

About the shoot!

We will be there most of the day so bring ideas with you (or send them in advance) so we can try to create new ideas and shots you would like. You will need to bring any specific make up and clothing with you. The planned location depending on numbers of people and weather is outside but under cover (barn). We are able to cater for several types of images depending on the weather.


The deal is all images will be available for everyone for their own use only.

Photographs for Django

I have recently done a photo shoot for a band Django.

I met them in Marlow for a very short notice shoot in a venue that wasn't ideal but i have added a backgound idea that they liked and here is the result.
