I have up loaded them to my website please email me for a link on my website.

I have included a few images to my blog for you to look at.

Here is TOOT FRUIT ON ROUTE at the Grant & Stone Marlow 5
TOOT FRUIT ON ROUTE website

The record crowds waiting for the start of the 25th anniversary of the race.

Some of the Runners at the finish after about 25mins THAT'S FAST!

It was very warm as a photographer let alone a runner. All the local residents were out on the streets of Marlow to watch the race and sun themselves.

This guy was late for lunch or something!

The only Grant & Stone runner!

Posing for Models

Once again i am always asked about this by Models.

From the modeling Guide "SUCCESS IN MODELING CAREER" by Igor Malkov.

Here is the first example of a very popular advice:
“All you have to do is learn to relax in front of the camera, have fun, and let your creativity come through.”
It is one of the stupidest advice. It's good to relax on vacation. In front of camera you must work. Or, at least, to learn how to work. For me it is difficult to understand how is it possible to relax and feel comfortable in front of camera if you have no idea what and how to do? I think it will be more useful to learn how to work. It is only way for you, your agent and your clients to feel comfortable.
One more example:
"Buy the books with the modeling poses and learn from them."
Following this ingenious advice someone from you has probably bought the similar book. Perhaps you have learned some poses already. My opinion on this advice is very simple - take this book and throw it to a garbage can as soon as possible. What you have to do next, will be more difficult - you have to forget all those poses! Why? Because they are empty and absolutely useless. Only imagine that you preparing for the shooting and think: "Now I use a pose number 25, and then a pose number 19". The real nightmare for any art-director and the photographer.

Each product, fashion collection and especially high fashion collection has its own style and mood. And the model's job is to express this style and mood and to make it attractive to public.
Please understand: The pose is secondary. First there should be a feeling which will give birth to a natural pose. You do not need to learn how to make empty poses. You should learn how to create thousand natural poses.

HOW? LET US BEGIN TO LEARN POSING TECHNIQUE.
You should begin practicing in front of a full length mirror. But very soon you should check up your success with a help of a camcorder. There are two reasons for that.
First: You will not use a mirror posing in studios;
Second: you will be amazed how differently you see yourself in a mirror and as you will be seen by a lens of the camcorder.

The main thing you have to understand that a model as any artist or a musician has own working tools - the instrument. And that instrument for a model is a whole you. Including everything. Your body, your head, hands, legs, fingers, your eyes and feelings. Perhaps you think that if it all yours you know how to use it. Big mistake! You must practice and practice until you will learn how to use this instrument.

I can always assist with posing whilst on a photo shoot and i also carry posing guides as well.

More Model information

As i am asked all the time about models and modeling i have found this information.

This is not written by me but it will give you a guide.

What size do you have to be a model?
Editorial and fashion female models are tall and thin, are usually 5'8"-6' tall with hips no larger than 36, usually have long necks and full lips.
Male models are trim and athletic, 6'-6'2" tall and wear a 40 or 42 jacket. A full head of healthy hair and good teeth are essential.
Commercial models come in a whole range of sizes.... it really depends on your "look" more than your size.
Body and parts models can be any size... it is proportions that count.

Children and teens modeling
Children and teens can work in many types of modeling: fashion shows, editorial, catalogue, commercials. Teen models are called JUNIOR MODELS and must be 5’4 to 5’8 tall, 12 to 17 years old with youthful look. Children can be any size.

I just found on internet info that all that "slim and beauty" models almost gone and to be a model you can look as regular people on the streets. Is it true?
Browsing an internet you can find tons of absolutely unprofessional information and stupid recommendations.
It is a very easy to get an answer to your question. Just look through the last fashion magazines. When models will look as regular people on the streets they will be paid also as regular people: $10 - 15 per hour. However, some ads and fashion collections require the "street" look.

All my friends think that I am very beautiful and keep saying that I should try modeling, but I am not sure. Can you give me some advise?
It is very difficult to give you this kind of advise without seeing you. However, if many people suggested that you should consider modeling, perhaps you should. But first you have to understand what a modeling is about. Any client who is using a model's services does so because the model can help to promote and sell their product. That is the only reason why they hire models. Just to be a beautiful is not enough to be a good model. Look through fashion magazines and you will see many not so beautiful but very successful models. Please understand that all agencies and clients are looking for models with a very interesting and unique look.

EVALUATION
You have learned requirements. It was a first and an easiest step. But now you have to make a second step. Evaluation. It is a very critical and sometimes is a most difficult step. You have to be honest with yourself!
Look in the mirror and ask yourself: Do I have what needs to be a model?
The best scenario if you are young, tall, slim and beautiful. You have good teeth, long necks and full lips. In this case your modeling potential has no limits. Any market!
But If your body is not slim - it is already a limit. If you are not tall enough - it is a limit. If you are not young - one more limit. And each one more limit makes your modeling market more and more narrower. Some people think that anybody can become a commercial model. But commercial modeling still has one very important requirement - you must have an acting talent.
So, ask yourself: What kind of modeling is good for me? What is my market? What can make clients to choose you to promote their collections or product? Give yourself honest - I repeat - the honest answers and you can save a lot of time and money. And you will never be a victim of scams.

I can provide model portfolios and much more so please contact me.

A World of Photography is looking for a make-up artist to work on photo shoots on a freelance basis. Our work mainly consists of Glamour, Portrait, Wedding and Commercial photography, but may explore other areas.

The makeup artist is required to supply their own general make-up and transport to local locations but expenses and travelling costs maybe negotiated.

Most make up sessions would be between one and two hours and paid on that basis. Long sessions would be discussed as required.

Please contact us if you are interested so we can discuss further. Examples of your work and expected hourly rate would be appreciated.
